Specialist removal of asbestos garage roofs, corrugated cement sheets, shed roofs and industrial roofing across London. Safely dismantled, double-bagged and disposed of under CAR 2012.
Asbestos cement was the standard roofing material for UK garages, sheds, outbuildings and industrial roofs from the 1950s to the late 1980s. Most haven't been touched since — and many are now weathering badly, with broken or cracked sheets releasing fibres into the air.
Asbestos cement is classified as a lower-risk material because the fibres are bound in cement, but that changes the moment the sheets are broken, dropped or cut. Power tools are off-limits. Sheets must be removed whole, lowered carefully, and packaged for disposal.
We handle the full process from inspection to disposal — typically completed in a single day for a domestic garage or shed roof.
Phone or written quote, free of charge. For larger jobs we attend on-site. Method statement and risk assessment issued.
Where notifiable, we file the 14-day HSE notification on your behalf. Site sheeted, enclosure built where required.
Wet-strip techniques, full PPE/RPE, negative-pressure units. Asbestos double-bagged in UN-approved packaging.
Transported to authorised facility. Hazardous-waste consignment note & air-clearance certificate provided.
Most quotes can be given over the phone, free of charge, in under ten minutes. For larger jobs we attend on-site, free of charge, and provide a written fixed-price quotation with a method statement.

A typical single garage roof in London is in the region of £350–£550 + VAT, depending on size and access. Larger or harder-to-access roofs cost more. We give free fixed-price quotes — call us with the dimensions and we can usually quote on the phone.
Encapsulation (painting over with a sealant) is technically permissible but rarely sensible. The underlying material continues to weather, and any future works become more complex because the encapsulation has to be disturbed first. For most domestic roofs, removal is the cleaner option.
We can arrange a like-for-like or upgraded replacement (steel box-profile, lightweight roofing, etc.) as part of the same job — or you can have the roof removed only and arrange replacement separately. We'll quote both options.
A standard domestic garage roof is typically a 3–5 hour job. Larger roofs take a day or two. Industrial roofs vary.
No — most garage roof jobs are done entirely from the outside. We'll let you know on-site if internal access is needed for any reason.
