If you've found material in your property that you suspect contains asbestos — popcorn ceilings, old floor tiles, cement sheets, lagging on pipework — the only way to know for sure is laboratory testing.
We attend on-site, take a small sample under controlled conditions, and submit it to a UKAS ISO 17025-accredited laboratory. Results are returned within 24–48 hours by email.
If the result is negative, no further action is needed. If positive, we can advise on whether the material is safe to leave in place or whether it requires removal — and quote for the work if you'd like us to handle it.

A single sample with PLM analysis is typically around £75 + VAT including the site visit, within London. Multiple samples on the same visit are charged at a reduced rate per additional sample. Call us with the postcode for a fixed quote.
We strongly advise against it. Taking a sample without proper PPE, controls and technique can release fibres. The cost saving of self-sampling is small and the risk is real — we recommend always using a trained sampler.

If your material contains asbestos, we'll advise on whether it's safe to manage in place or needs removal. If removal is required, we can quote for that — or you're welcome to use the result with any other licensed contractor.
Sampling involves taking a small portion of the material — typically 1–2 cm² — for analysis. The disturbance is minor and the small area can usually be made good afterwards.
